Warehouse Gallery presents a talk with artist, Adrian Franks and curator, kamau ware at our pop-in gallery location - Civil Service Cafe. For the past three years, artist Adrian Franks has questioned and celebrated fearlessness through a set of digital silhouettes comprised of both iconic and everyday figures. Warehouse Gallery is proud to have a celebrate the first exhibition of author and artist Lesley Ware - Sew Fab. This exhibition and book preview is a unique window into fashion, style, and imagination. You have to see it for yourself but here are some of the photos.

Join us for the Firelina Trunk Show from 3pm to 7pm as we close out the run of an amazing exhibition that combines art and fashion. Firelina is led by a spirited young lady named Regina Roberts who named her line off of her great-great-grandmother.

Enjoy the closing of our third exhibition, Suit, with a soulful playlist and fun characters. Get a glimpse of Lesley Ware's forthcoming bow tie collection Tye, named after a handsome nephew not quite old enough to tie himself yet.

 

 


Drink and Draw :: Suit Programs February 14 2014

Saturday February 15th is our next Drink & Draw.

Enjoy live acoustic guitar by JackLucy while sketching a live model vibing off the music. This is one of our signature events, part of the Suit Programs. This event is sponsored by Prym Rum who will provide the popular cocktail "The Warehouse" at the event. There's a rumor that there might be a spades game "after party" for those art enthusiasts who know how to follow suit...

Bed Stuy Story Programs January 10 2014


 

The Artist Talk-Photo Walk has been canceled by Old Man Winter. It snowed at our first Artist Talk-Photo Walk but it was not as cold and windy. Don't fret, we have two more amazing events for Bed Stuy Story.

 

 

 


End-of-Show Events December 13 2013

We are wrapping up our first exhibition with an amazing set of events that are great to share with a friend or to meet someone new. On Saturday December 14th we will host our Instragram Artist Talk/Photo Walk were people are encouraged to be artists and urban explorers. Your ticket includes samples of some of west Bed-Stuys coolest spots while you are out creating mobile art. The walk starts with an artist talk with curator kamau ware and Kaitiln Rebesco.

Next up is our Drink & Draw that will be accompanied by cellist Anna Callner. Before the drawing starts, artist Sam Levy will give a talk about his work in the show and his creative process.

Finally, we close out with the group Power of 3 that includes music by Paze and Morgan and vocals by Karl. They are a soulful funky group you don't want to miss.

You don't want to miss our first co-presentation. Warehouse Gallery is happy to host Samantha Marie Davis, style blogger and designer, for her inspiring Affirmation Tote bags Trunk Show.
 
Saturday December 14th | Artist Talk/Photo Walk | 1pm - 3pm
The Instagram Artist Talk/Photo Walk fuses the Instagram experience with the current exhibition Collo. Guests will have an artist + curator talk with Kaitlin Rebesco and kamau ware, who both have photographs in the exhibition. Then guest will enjoy a self-guided Instagram walking tour in close proximity to the gallery. Those with tickets will be able to get a taste of the neighborhood’s at restaurants such as Black Swan and Do or Dine. At the end of the Photo Walk, there will be a print signing by Instagram artists, Geneva L. White and Kaitlin Rebesco.. Click here to purchase tickets.
 
Sunday December 15th | Drink & Draw w/ Anna Callner & Sam Levy | 7pm - 10pm
Enjoy a Drink & Draw event with a slight twist as you receive inspiration from accomplished cellist Anna Callner. Sam Levy will give an artist talk and sign prints. We will provide the figure model and of course the drinks. You bring good cheer and creativity. Click here to purchase tickets.
 
Friday December 20th | Collo Closing Reception | 7pm - 10pm
Our first exhibition will close formally on Saturday December 21st. The day before, we will host our closing reception. We will present the newly formed trio, the Power of 3 to send us off right.
